Suhyun Seo, based in Seoul, is an artist who makes art-furniture and various textile crafts. Her work is characterized by simplicity of form, vividness of color, and huge volume with aiming to allow all generations, from children to adults, to freely imagine and experience.

“My works are not heavy or profound. Most of my stories are particularly about my childhood, and I hope that those momentarinesses that remind me of childhood, even for a brief moment, will keep me entertained and remembered for a long time.”

서울을 기반으로 활동하는 서수현은 아트 퍼니처와 다양한 섬유 공예품들을 만드는 작가이다. 그의 작업은 형태의 단순함, 색감의 생동감, 풍성한 볼륨감이 특징이다. 작업을 통해 아이에서 어른까지 전세대가 마음껏 상상하고 체험하는 것을 목표로 한다.

“ 제 작업들은 무겁거나 심오하지 않아요. 대부분 저의 이야기들이 특히 어린 시절이 담겨있고 어릴 적의 나를 아주 잠시라도 회상하는 그 찰나의 순간을 통해 오래도록 즐겁게 기억에 남기를 바라요.”
